Nutrition & Health Manager

We are looking for a Corporate Nutrition & Health Manager who would like to work on the development and coordination of FrieslandCampina’s Nutrition program. In this role, you will focus on the Responsible Communication program, including marketing to children, and the Life Education/Training, which are part of the Nutrition program. You will collaborate with and serve as the link between our external and internal stakeholders in this field. Advocating for the goodness of milk and responsibly communicating about it through our brands is part of the job. This requires close cooperation with colleagues in global corporate functions, local marketing, global marketing, regulatory affairs, and R&D.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree, for example Public Health, Health and Nutrition, or Communication;
- Over 7 years of professional experience, including more than 3 years in Health Communication or Nutrition and Health Policies;
- You speak and write fluently in Dutch and English;
- Familiarity or affinity with sector organizations in dairy, marketing- and advertising such as NZO, FDE, or EU-pledge.

The Corporate Nutrition and Health Manager operates on a global level for all Business Groups in a multidisciplinary setting.The external network includes a diversity of stakeholders with different interests, including governmental officials, NGOs, industry organizations, and (self)-regulatory bodies.Nutrition and health matters (policies, positions, and clearances) are complex and highly impactful within the organization and markets. In this role, you will work on and manage:
- Global variations: Addressing situations around the world that differ in terms of regulations, dietary habits, competitors, and internal interests.
- Health claim clearances: Assessing health claimsand understanding how restrictions on advertising to children impact brand positioning in the market.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Engaging with stakeholders to define RFC Nutrition and Health positions, even when their interests may conflict, to avoid actions detrimental to the company and its brands.
- Cross-disciplinary complexity: Coordinating efforts across various disciplines within RFC, which adds to the complexity and impact of the role.

The Corporate Nutrition & Health manager is part of the Corporate Nutrition & Health team and reports into the Corporate Manager Nutrition and Health. This team is part of the Sustainability team led by our Corporate Sustainability Officer.
